We did not remove Buhari’s bill boards – Gombe Task Force

Gombe state Task Force Committee on Environmental Sanitation has declined media reports alleging that all bill boards of APC members including that of President Buhari were removed by the Task force.
Reacting to the allegations yesterday in Gombe, chairman of the committee on environmental sanitation, Alhaji Nasiru Haruna made the denial while briefing journalists, said Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo had earlier constituted a 7 man committee on environmental sanitation to checkmate illegal bill boards, posters and other related matters that are place within pedestrian.
In terms of its reference, the chairman explained that government had mandated tax force committee to enforce and remove any illegal bill boards, Banners, Notice boards and Posters within the state.
According to him, the committee announced earlier advising the general public with illegal placed Bill boards, Banners Posters and other related items to be removed immediately on before 2nd September 2017.
Haruna further explained that all Bill boards with join photographs of either the governor or the president will be removed by tax force on environmental sanitation adding that the committee will only spare legal Bill boards, Posters and other related matters own by the public.
He said the removal of Bill boards, Posters and other related matters by tax force does not mean to harassed the opposition but ensure that Bill boards and posters are placed legally.
The chairman appeal to media to always balance their reportage before going to the press to avoid any rancor among the people.
He said they respect President Buhari and will continue to give him maximum support to enable him carry out the good work he meant for Nigerians.
