FCT-HHSS boss tasks staff on commitment, efficiency

Date:

The staff and management of Agencies, Departments and Divisions of the FCT Health and Human Services Secretariat (HHSS) are implored to be more committed towards the provision of efficient and effective health care to FCT residents.
This call was made by the newly appointed HHSS Secretary, Barr. Amanda Pam as she looks to hit the ground running.
A statement jointly signed by HHSS public relations officers, Samuel Musa and
Badaru Yakasai, Barr Pam spoke when she resumed duties at the Secretariat in Garki District, after receiving briefs from the former Ag. Secretary Mrs. Alice Odey-Achu and the management of various Agencies, Departments and Divisions under the Secretariat, last week.
She enjoined all medical personnel working in the Secretariat to key into the change agenda of President Muhamadu Buhari and the FCT Minister Muhammad Musa Bello in providing efficient and good medical services at affordable cost to all Nigerians and FCT residents in particular.
Pam while encouraging the staff to be resilient and optimistic about achieving the set objective, said “with God on our side we cannot afford to fail, therefore all hands must be on desk to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.”
The newly HHSS boss Secretary however commended the former Ag. Secretary and her management team for being focused while running the affairs of the Secretariat, calling for more efforts to improve the wellbeing (health wise ) of the FCT residents.
