A group, Kogi save project, has expressed concerns about the dwindling socio-economic fortunes of Kogi state and its citizenry, even as it noted that the majority of the people of the state are unhappy and helpless.
The group extolled the leadership virtues of Kabiru Saraha, whom it described as a true leader.
It wondered whether Kabiru Saraha is aware of the ugly situation in which the people of the once vibrant, growing and blooming state have been confined.
The group had recognized Kabiru Saraha for his sterling leadership qualities during the inspirational leadership lecture held at Anyingba in Kogi state.
It described him as a man of values, whose visionary leadership and life changing values is needed to take Kogi to the next level, just as it urged Saraha to hearken to the voice of the people.
“This is the time and considering his philanthropic and youth empowerment programme which cuts across the whole federation, the time to make the right decision is now”, the group said.
Comrade Abdulmajeed Musa, the President of the group, who extolled the leadership qualities of Kabiru Saraha, said his contribution to nation building was fully recognized by the federal government through the conferment of national honour award on him.
Describing him as a detribalized Nigerian, the group noted that Kabiru Saraha has established himself as a disciplined, focused and consummate estate developer, who can manage people and resources effectively.
