Yobe NTIC meets Gaidam, applauds students’ good performance

The management of First Surat Group, which runs the Nigeria Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) and the Nigeria Nile University (NTNU) has briefed Gov. Ibrahim Gaidam on the progress of students at the Yobe branch of the NTIC.
The First Surat Group delegation, which included the Chairman, Mr. Mehmet Bashturk, Vice Chancellor Nile University Mr. Huseyin Sert, Managing Director Mr. Orhan Kertim and the Dean of Post Graduate School, Nile University Prof. Musa Muhammed met the governor in Abuja yesterday.
The Managing Director Mr. Kertim said that Yobe NTIC students “continue to excel in relevant national examinations, including WAEC and JAMB”, and revealed that students’ performance for WAEC performance for the year was 100 percent while the average for JAMB was 240 marks.
Mr. Kertim added that Yobe NTIC is second among all NTIC schools in all examinations nationwide after Ogun NTIC.
“There is a lot of potential in Yobe. The zeal to learn among students is fantastic. And because of Your Excellency’s support to the education sector in the state, Yobe will continue to do well and move further along educationally”, he said.
Gov. Gaidam, who thanked the delegation for their visit, said the Yobe state government will sustain the partnership between it and the Group.
