2019: Niger North endorse Gov. Bello for 2nd term

The All Progressive Congress APC executives and delegates from the Niger North Senatorial district popularly known as Zone C have endorsed Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello for the second time come come 2019.
The was resolution was reached at a rally organized by the zonal APC comprising eight local government areas held at Adamu Bokane Memorial Stadium, Kontagora.
The Party Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Shariff Usman said the endorsement was not because he is form the zone but due to his numerous projects executed in the last two years of the administration.
He applauded the achievements recorded by the governor, noting that the zone comprising eight local government areas, 87 wards passed vote of confidence on the administration of governor Bello.
He emphasized the need to give governor Bello another opportunity to provide more dividend of democracy to the people of the state, saying he has so far executed about 730 projects in his first year while 56 projects across the state were on the stages of completion.
He further explained that Zone A, has had its two term of 8 years led by late
Engr Abdulkadir Abdullahi Kure, while Zone B governed the state for eight years under Dr Muazu Babangida Aliyu.
The eight local governments comprising zone C includes: Kontagora, Mashegu, Magama, Wushushi , Agwara, Mariga, Rijau and Borgu respectively.
