Algeria Fans praise Mikel, Victor Moses, Blast Slimani, Mahrez

Fans of the Algerian national team gave the Super Eagles of Nigeria a warm reception upon their arrival in Constantine ahead of tomorrow’s game against Algeria.
The game is of no significant as Nigeria have already qualified for the World Cup from the group that has Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia, thanks to their unbeaten run with only the draw against Cameroon denting their perfect start.
Algeria are bottom of the group after a terrible run that saw them use three coaches despite the avalanche of star players available to the country.
Upon the arrival of the Super Eagles for tomorrow’s dead rubber tie some of the fans spoke with Owngoalnigeria.com, and they were full of praise for the star players in the Nigerian team.
” Mikel, Victor Moses and Alex Iwobi, your big players played every game with their heart in it, but our star players Islam Slimani, Riyad Mahrez and Yacine Brahaimi are not committed “, a fan who identifies himself as Masoud said.

Another close follower of Algerian football Majid also echoed the praise of his fellow countrymen for the Nigerian stars and just like them, he also criticised players of his country for their poor showing.
” Our players are bigger than our coach; they play for themselves and not for the team unlike Nigeria. You see Moses tracking back to win balls, Mikel is here for a game that has no meaning, I’m not sure any Algerian player can do so. It’s a pity”.
