Vigilantee Group of Nigeria (VGN) has lauded the federal government over improved security in North Eastern part of the country.
The group expressed satisfaction with the commitment of President Muhammadu Buhari to restore peace not only in northeastern region but in other part of the country.
Fielding questions from newsmen in Kaduna, VGN Chief of Staff under the leadership of Alhaji Ali Sokoto, Nevy Captain Umar Abubakar Bakori( rtd) urged Nigerians to support the president as he is set to restore peace in the country.
The group also commended members of House of Representatives for allowing the bill which will confirm VGN as Para-military agencies in the country to scale through third readings.
According to the group, if the bill passes into law by the Senate it will help in the fight against crimes better and effectively.
Bakori expressed confidence that the Senate will pass the bill into law.
