The Mosque project started about six years ago was taken over by the Foundation about two months ago after an appeal from the Federation to the Chairman of the Foundation, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.

He said the Foundation was thankful to Allah for the opportunity to be part of the project and the ability to complete the project in record time.
He said the project was just the beginning of the Foundation’s association with the Federation, assuring that he would convey the Federation’s goodwill message back to the Founder of the Foundation, Alhaji Dangote.
Alhaji Musa further said the Foundation was always available to intervene in issue that affects women, informing that the Foundation was at the moment empowering 1000 women in each local governments across the 36 states with a N10 billion Fund.
He said already the project had gone round about seven states already.
Reacting to the gesture, the National Ameerah of FOMWAN, Hajiya Amina Omoti, said the Federation lacked words to express its joy, praying to Allah bless and reward the Federation and its founder.
She, however, appealed to the Foundation to complete the project by going the whole length and landscape the surrounding, rehabilitate the fence and build a house for the Imam.
She called on other well-to-do in the country to emulate Alhaji Dangote and his Foundation for the good of the society.
FOMWAN is an umbrella body of Muslim women in the country, commanding membership of about 80,000 associations.
