Jigawa Assembly approves transfer of N3.0b to contingency

The Jigawa State House of Assembly has approved the transfer of N3.0 billion from stabilisation fund to contingency fund of the state.
The House approved the transfer during its sitting presided by the Honourable Speaker, Idris Isah Gwaram.
The motion was moved and presented by the Majority Leader of the House, Honourable Sani Isyaku Abubakar and the House deliberated on the matter.
The Speaker said “That the honourable house do now requested to consider and approve the transfer of N3.0 billion from the stablisation fund (Budget line 15108-33620) to the contingency fund vote (Budget line 16040-33610) to provide additional budgetary provision to some capital projects in the state”.
It could be recall that the state executive wrote a request to the House seeking for the approval of the transfer of fund for execution of capital projects across the state.
The House finally approved the request adding that the transfer of fund will help the present administration to improve live of the citizens and ensured better change.
