The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corpse (NSCDC) in Edo state has asked the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) to blacklist three petrol stations for selling above pump price of N145.00 per litre.
The state Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr. Makinde Ayinla gave the names of the petrol stations to include Conoil (Aduwawa), Agboniy Global Ltd and Rain Oil located in Idogbo respectively.
Ayinla in a chat with newsman yesterday in Benin City, said the erring petrol stations, sold the product between N150.00 and N220.00.
He warned other petroleum marketers to desist from hoarding and unilaterally adjusting pump price.
While urging residents to stop panic buying, Ayinla admonished them to report any erring petrol station to the law enforcement agents.
The Commandant further disclosed that the command is ready to assist the federal government in ensuring a hitch-free yuletide celebration.
