As the race for the Nigeria’s presidency heats up, a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chamberlain Adiaso, has explained why President Muhammadu Buhari will contest and win resoundingly in 2019.
According to him, Buhari remains the man to beat, as the people of Nigeria are behind him, because they have seen in him the transparent, competent and trustworthy leader they always craved for.
This is coming barely a week after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) released the much-awaited electoral timetable for the 2019 general elections.
Briefing newsmen in Abuja, Adiaso, who declared his interest to run for the Abia State Governorship post, said Abians, especially political leaders like Orji Uzor Kalu are at work and result is now visible for all to see.
“President Buhari has transformed Nigeria for good and most Nigerians want him to continue in office. His tenure at the Villa will be renewed on the 16th February, 2019.
“He is full of vigor and vitality. Mere looking at him, one would think that he just collected his call-up letter, and he is about to go for his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
“Let me reiterate that Abia State is for Buhari, as Abians believe in him and we are already working for him. He will win hands down in Abia State.
“To complement the efforts of our political leaders, Nigerians from all walks of life will hold a rally on the 8th of March, 2018 in London. On that day, we shall tell the world that President Buhari is well loved and admired by Nigerians,” he stressed.
