No herdsman convicted in Edo – Prisons

Edo state Comptroller of the Nigerian Prisons service(NPS), Mr. Amadi Osayande yesterday declared that no herdsman has been convicted of any crime in the state.
He made the submission at a symposium organized by the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Edo State said his administration has stepped up plans to address the menace of herdsmen/farmers attacks.
Amadi, tasked authorities concern to probe into the source of light fie arms allegedly been wielded by herdsmen and sued for peaceful coexistence with one another.
He sued for robust collaboration and intelligence sharing among the security agencies to nip the herdsmen attacks and killings in Nigeria.
