Adamawa APC chieftain lambasts Naja’atu over comments on Buhari

Baba Jada has decried that Nigerian journalists and some mischievous politicians are in the habit of overheating the already tensed political atmosphere through misrepresentation of facts on issues in the country.
Baba Jada was reacting to recent interview on a Hausa Television channel (FARIN WATA) where a female Kano Politician, Hajiya Naja’atu Bala Mohammad criticized the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, saying it has failed woefully despite the support it got from Nigerians at the polls in 2015.
Jada explained that it is not in doubt that the national constitution has empowers Nigerians to be entitled to freedom of speech, but queried the way the gate keepers or journalists will allow some mischief makers to be misrepresenting issues, despite glaring facts on ground.
He accused Hajiya Naja’atu of doing a hatchet job for the Senate President, Bukola Saraki with the manner she advanced that President Buhari has not done anything to warrant seeking re-election in 2019, and saying Saraki is more formidable in APC than Buhari.
He opined that President Buhari is absolutely a goal getter; but it is the observance of due process and strict adherence to the rule of law which many, including Naja’atu and her sponsors, are painting to be too slow.
“President Buhari is a due process man working to better the country with the fear of God; but mischief makers like Naja’atu and her pay masters are using it mischievously to create confusion in the country.
“My candid observation here is that media practitioners shouldn’t be used to achieve selfish goals by some desperate politicians who are just there for manipulation and corruption, “Jada advised.
Responding on her insistence that EFCC Boss Magu must be removed, Jada replied that Magu is a good police officer doing his job with all sense of
professionalism; noting that he knows a lot about corrupt activities of most of those federal legislators insisting on his removal.
Jada attested that most Nigerians know the antecedents of Saraki in his political voyage, right from Kwara politics to where he is presently, adding that his corrupt charges before code of conduct tribunal Abuja is still hanging.
He, therefore, appealed to the Federal Government to, as a matter of utmost
importance, establish special corruption tribunals in the judicial sector which shall simply handle cases of corruption, so that a speedy administration of justice can be attained.
Ubandoman Jada added that the corruption cases need special attention by government, so that judgment can be reached on time which can serve as deterrence to others with similar intentions.
“If these special corruption tribunals are formed, it will certainly add value to our judicial system; and culprits can be adjudicated on time for others with such bad intentions to have a change of mind,” Jada suggested.
