The Jama’tu Izalatil Bid’a Wa’ikamatis Sunnah has preached peaceful coexistence and unity among Christians and Islamic faithful in country, calling on all Nigerians to live in peace and harmony in the country irrespective of one’s religious or tribal affiliation.
The call was made by the National Chairman of the group, Abdullahi Bala Lau, yesterday during an event titled “National Preaching Jos 2018” held in Jos.
According to him, Nigerians should not be allowed to be used to divide them along religious or tribal affiliation, calling on all religious followers to embrace one another.
While calling on politicians not to divide Nigerians, the Chairman further applauded the Plateau State, governor Simon Bako Lalong for his passion for peace in the state , urging the governors of Taraba and Benue States to emulate Lalong to achieving political development.
