The Principal of Government Senior Secondary School Hajj Camp in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Abubakar Gambo Ibrahim, has charged the parents to remain committed to the education of their children at all times.
Principal, who gave the charge while speaking at the occasion of the PTA meeting of the school on Saturday, also urged the parents to always checkmate the activities of the children.
He further pleaded with the parents to endeavour to purchase the necessary materials for the children, noting that many students come to the school without biros as well as exercise books.
He said that his administration would continue to deal with the students who refused to behave well in the school, while calling on the parents/ guardians to support the management of the school in all ramification.
He therefore, expressed gratitude to those parents who turned up during the meeting, and frowned at the parents who did not attend the meeting.
Also speaking, the P.T.A Chairman of the school, Mr. Nuhu Azare, said that leadership of the P.T.A would not hesitate to provide the needed facilities in the school.
Azare advised the parents to send their children to the public schools, and warned them against taking their children to the miracle centres.
