The Federal government has established a new guideline that would drive research and regulate effective healthcare delivery system in University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH)
Chairman management Board of UBTH, Mr. Bashorun Adewolu yesterday in Benin City, Edo state Capital where he advocated regular training of medical personnel to address contemporary challenges in the health sector.
At an audience with the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Benin, Prof. Faraday Orumwense, Adewolu, said the University was a dependable partner to enhance the hospitals productivity in order to achieve its mandate.
Responding, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Benin, Prof. Faraday Orumwense, assured the UBTH Board Chairman of the necessary support to the Teaching Hospital noting “that there is no gap between UBTH and UNIBEN”.
Members of the newly inaugurated Board of UBTH led by its chairman, Mr. Bashorun Adedoja, also visited the Benin Monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II, to solicit for his support and royal blessings for the institution.
