The Senator representing Kaduna Central in the Upper Chamber, Shehu Sani has been granted self bail after he honoured an invitation by the Kaduna State Police Command for interrogation.
The Senator in a message said the police invited him yesterday to Police Command headquarters Kaduna, and he honoured the invitation with a clear conscience.
According to him, he arrived at the Command around 10:45am where he wrote his statement and was later granted self bail.
It will be recall that one, Isah Garba, a Joint Task Force (JTF) Commander in Kabala Doki, a suburb of Kaduna metropolis was said to have indicted the Senator in the killing of one Lawal Dona.
However, Mr. Garba in a press release alleged that soldiers who arrested him in February, 2018, tortured him to implicate Senator Shehu Sani in the case.
When Mr. Isah Garba was handed over to the police, Senator Sani was invited to appear before the Commissioner of Police on April 30, 2018, to write a statement.
