SDP debunks alleged suspension of Deputy National Chairman

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Kaduna State Chapter has debunked the alleged suspension of the Deputy National Chairman, Abdul Ishaq Ahmed, from his Badarawa/Malali Warda, Kaduna State.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by Ward Chairman of Malali / Badarawa, Umar Mustapha Sampam, and made available to the media in Kaduna yesterday.
The statement added that the purported suspension of Abdul Isiaq Ahmed by one anonymous Yusuf Sani Mohammed, who is neither known to the ward Exco nor the local and State Executives is not authentic.
Sampam also stressed that there was no time that any person or group of persons raised any allegation against the alleged suspended Deputy National Chairman, whom he said was responsible for the establishment of party structures in the state.
While disowning the story and its promoters, Sampan said “We are very surprised that some disgruntled elements in the party could make themselves available as tools for personal attack on the integrity of the Deputy National Chairman in the name of politics by those, who see his rising political profile as great threat to their 2019 political ambitions.”
“There was no time that any person or group of persons raised any allegation against the Deputy National Chairman, Abdul Isiaq, who was largely responsible for the establishment of SDP structures in Kaduna state many years ago.
“We therefore disown the story and its promoters. We are very surprised that some disgruntled elements in the party could make themselves available as tools for personal attack on the integrity of the Deputy National Chairman in the name of politics by those who see his rising political profile as great threat to their 2019 political ambitions.
“Be that as it may, we call on the local government as well as state chapter leaderships to investigate those behind this ignoble anti party conduct and take appropriate disciplinary action against the perpetrators”, he said.
It would be recalled that group of aggrieved members of Social Democratic Party, Badarawa/Malali Ward, claimed they suspended the Deputy National Chairman, Abdul Ahmed Isaq for 10 months from the party for anti-party activities and financial misappropriation.
