The immediate family of former Governor Murtala Nyako and people of Adamawa state have again been thrown in to mourning over the death of the second wife of former Governor Nyako, Hajiya Zainab Nyako.
Family source told journalists in Yola, Wednesday that Hajiya Zainab Nyako died at the Federal Medical Centre Yola Tuesday night while receiving treatment on an undisclosed ailment.
She died at the age of 63 leaving behind 6 children and has since been buried in accordance with the Islamic rites.
Former Media Coordinator to Late Zainab, Mallam Ibrahim Muhammad said she was a graduate of Bachelor of Arts and History at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, and had worked in different capacities.
Muhammad stated that she will be remembered most with her efforts of upliftment of humanity especially women and children through her pet project nicknamed WEEIN (Women Education and Empowerment Initiative)in the state,
