Kaduna NIPR holds AGM, public lecture

The Kaduna state chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) holds its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday 30th June, 2018.
The AGM which will hold at Hamdala Hotel, Kaduna shall be preceded by a Public/Memorial Lecture in honour of one of the founding fathers of the Chapter, late Consultant Aliyu who passed on last year.
The lecture which starts at 9:00 am is expected to be chaired by the Emir of Birnin Gwari, Allah’s servant, Malam Zubair Jibril Mai Gwari, who is also a Fellow of the Institute.
The Managing Director of PAN Nigeria Limited, Mr. Ibrahim Boyi will deliver a lecture with the theme ‘New Media and Challenges of Public Relations in Contemporary Nigeria’. The Executive Governor of Kaduna state, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, is expected to grace the occasion as the Special Guest of Honour.
A statement by the Chairman of the state chapter, Mohammed El-Nafaty, said this year’s AGM shall be an elective AGM where new Executive Council members shall be elected to steer the affairs of the Chapter for the next two years.
He urged members of the chapter and the general public to endeavour to attend the event to make it a success.
