Ahead of 2019, an aspirant seeking for Nasarawa West Senatorial district seat on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Gospel Daniel Musa, has assured the people of the zone that, if voted for, he will provide effective and quality representation.
Musa made this known yesterday while fielding questions with newsmen in Garaku, the Headquarters of kokona Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
He said that he has decided to join the National Assembly race because of the clarion call from his people to represent them at the red chamber of the National Assembly so as to contribute his quota to the development of the country.
According to him, “The clarion call of my people came in and I have to respond since life is about the people and not about yourself. If you want to be remembered even when you are no more, then you should do something for the people. The joy of everyman should be the happiness of the people, and their development.”
He said “As a senator you must come back to serve the people, to help them and to speak for them like the voice of the voiceless. Those in your constituency who are incapacitated, you are their leg , their hands, their eyes and you are the one to stand for them.”
The senatorial aspirant urged the party supporters and the people of the state to continue to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities and to live in peace irrespective of their affiliation.
