Army designates 21 Armourd Brigade Bama as Special Brigade

The Nigerian Army has designated the 21 Army Amoured Brigade Bama as a Special Brigade to further consolidate on successes recorded by troops in the fight against insurgency in Borno and environs.
The Army also assured troops under the Bridge that their welfare will always get adequate attention in addition to the timely provision of their operational kits and uniforms.
The Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Yusuf Buratai stated this during his operational visit to 21 Amoured Brigade Bama in Bama local government area of Borno State.
He commended troops for their resilience ,loyalty and hard work which contributed to the clearance of Boko Haram terrorists from the sambisa forest and environs including Cameroonian borders.
Buratai also visited the popular Alau Dam in Konduga, Konduga Local government area of Borno state and had gunboat excercise with the Nigerian Army amphibious troops. The Dam was formerly occupied by the Boko Haram terrorists before they were chased away from the area by the federal troops.
