The Regional / FCT Coordinator of One Voice, a political pressure group rooting for the emergence of Obong Nsima Ekere as the Governor of Akwa Ibom State in the upcoming 2019 general election, Prince Walter Edward Bassey has vowed to work and bring back the loss glory of Akwa Ibom state by ensuring victory for Obong Ekere.
He expressed belief that Ekere would turn around the future of the state.
Bassey stated this during the inauguration of the Regional Executive Committee and Chapter Coordinators of One Voice, conducted by the National Coordinator of the Group, Hon. Chris Okon in Abuja The FCT coordinator, Prince Bassey who appreciated the turnout and support from members of the group, highlighted seven areas of priority the organization will work on to actualize Obong Nsima Ekere as a the next governor of the state , which include to Identify all sons and daughters of the state to share in the vision of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as a party, to mobilize and sensitise the Akwa Ibom people in the northern region on the agenda and programme of President Muhammadu Buhari and the that of their principal Obon Ekere as the Managing Director of NDDC.
The APC youth leader of the state, Hon Steven Ntukekpo who attended the occasion, called on Akwa Ibomites at home and in the Diaspora to support a great leader like Obong Nsima Ekere which he said has all the good quality of a leader that will lead the state to the promised land.
