Ghana 2018 AWCON: Dennerby returns, submits plans to NFF

Ahead of the Ghana 2018 African Women Cup of Nations, (AWCON) Super Falcons of Nigeria coach, Thomas Dennerby returned Nigeria on Saturday to submit his plans ahead of the tournament billed to take place in November this year.
The experienced manager who left Nigeria shortly after leading the Falcons to defeat the Gambian senior women’s team home and way in April to qualify for this year’s AWCON arrived on Saturday afternoon.
Top on the agendas of coach Dennerby’s return is to submit his AWCON 2018 plans to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for approval.
The coach will report to NFF office on today to discuss with the authorities on the programme.
Nigeria has won the trophy countless times under local coaches and Dennerby has expressed his determination to also lead the Super Falcons to lift the cup in Ghana.
The Super Falcons defeated the Gambia ladies 7-0 aggregate win to book her place in the tournament which they have won 10 times including 2016 edition.
