JONAPWD disowns Mfom as member

The Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD) has disowned Mr Eric Mfom as a member of the association.
The chairman of the board of trustee JONAPWD, Prince Paul Adelabu revealed this to newsmen in Abuja, said warmed the general public not to do business with him by describing him as a fraudster.
According to him, Eric Ndubueze Ufom is not a member of JONAPWD, constitutionally he is not or member and has no right whatsoever to speak on behalf of JONAPWD in such capacity.
“JONAPWD has no individual membership but cluster based likes Nigeria Association of the Blind, Nigerian National Association of the Deaf, National Association of persons affected by leprosy (IDEA), National Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities, Spinal Cord Injuries of Association of Nigeria and National Association Persons with Intellectual Disabilities.
He reiterated that Ufom did not belong to any of these, and vehemently warmed government at all levels, diplomatic, civil society, media and critical stakeholders to desist from doing business with Eric Ndubueze Ufom who is parading himself as equal rights of persons with disabilities who reside in USA.
“His meddling in the affairs of our umbrella organization through his numerous emails emanating from his end to our organizations platforms is causing us serious embarrassment, suspicion from our numerous supporters, strained relationship with our development partners, his emails are malicious, unverifiable and lacking in content, “he said.
Adelabu added that the general public should hereby disregard any email emanating from Eric Ndubueze Ufom.
Speaking earlier, President of JONAPWD in Nigeria, Mrs. Judith Ekeate, lamented that Mr Nfom had cost the association millions of Naira as partners are not willing to sponsor it programmes.
“We are representing 27 million Nigerian and his action has deprived the rights of persons with disabilities in the country.”
