Date:

From Ahmed Idris, Birnin Kebbi

Kebbi State Governor Atiku Abubakar Bagudu has appealed to All Progressives Congress (APC) contestants for the elected positions and supporters, most especially those who lost primaries elections last week, not to leave the party; rather they should joined hands together and move the party forward.
The governor made this known, at the weekend, while addressing some party supporters shortly after the conclusions of the Federal House of Representatives primaries held across the zones in the state, adding that APC remains committed to the yearnings of the masses in the country.
He said, further, that his administration is ready to support everyone, irrespective of their party affiliation and urge the members of his party that they should remain calm as this present administration in the state, and Nigeria, are ready to bring sanity to the all economic sector and provide dividends of democracy to the peoples.
“I am calling on the people of my state and Nigerians to rally round and continue to support Buhari administration, in order to ensure more development in the country. We are all one; we should learn how to forget and forgive each other, and stop playing politics of bitterness in the country,” he added.
Atiku, who was unopposed in the Governorship contest, assured the Kebbi State people not to disappoint them if given another mandate to govern the state.
“I promise to do more in Agriculture, health, education, empowering the youths and infrastructure. I need your support and cooperation towards achieving more development in the state,” he begs.
He then thanked all the delegates for electing the candidates of their choices, and urged the newly elected officials not to disappoint the electorate but fulfill their campaign promises.
