Ameachi’s wife donates food items to blind students in FCT

The wife of the Minister of Transportation Mrs. Dame Judith Amaechi has donated various food items worth thousands of naira to pupils of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, School of the Blind at Jabi in Abuja.
The gesture was part of her support to less privileged in Nigeria.
The Minister’s wife who donated these items through her Nongovernmental Organization (NGO) Empowerment Support Initiative (ESI) said that supporting less privileged in the society has been a primary role to her organization as soon as she became wife of Speaker in Rivers state, Governor in Rivers state and now minister’s wife.
The philanthropist who couldn’t hide her personality round herself with the less privileged with prayer to the nation, songs, worship and praises said should less privileged in the society are fully support ed and cared for without discrimination as such would go a long way in promoting harmony among Nigerians.
Judith Amaechi implored privileged ones in the society to support the less privileged saying that supporting them would promote smooth individual relationship.
“For me I want to thank God to be here today, when I was in Rivers state, I use to support less privilege, I feel they are members of our society and they need “help, that dose mean other don’t need help, for me is passion helping them because when I was growing up I have handicap staying with me even till now I still have, they need extra help by putting them in a good facilities, I am impress with these students and their facilities, they are doing well for me is an extra talent.
“I believe in our reign of President Muhammadu Buhari there are plan for them but some time we need to create awareness, I came here for them to also know they are loved and important to the society not only myself but well-meaning Nigerians and those in our great party APC apart from my personal reasons,” she said.
Speaking earlier, the Principal of the School, Dung Regina thanked the minister’s wife for being the first minister’s wife for remembering them and caring for them.
She, however, urged her to extend her kind gesture on the plight of the students and the management to privileged ones in the country for the interest of all.
