Kebbi: Stop using youths as political thugs, Group warns politicians

Kebbi State All Progressives Congress (APC) Youths Alliance has warned all the politicians not to use the Nigerian teaming youth for political thuggery.
Briefing newsmen yesterday in Birnin Kebbi, the chairman of the forum, Alhaji Yahayah Dan-illela said that recently they were able to counsel some youth who were engaged on thuggery and drugs abused in the state, assured President Muhammad Buhari and Atiku Bagudu of 100% vote of their second term bids in Kebbi State.
He expressed happiness over the laudable achievements recorded by the APC lead administration in Nigeria, promised to mobilize thousands of youths for Buhari and Atiku’s re-election.
“We are more than 20,000 thousands register youth under this umbrella, we recently train about 1000 youth on a different skills acquisition across the 21 local governments in the state, he added.
Also delivering his speech, the Secretary of the Youth Alliance, Nasir T. Gurmata said that they have being advocacy on the danger of involving youth on political thuggery and drugs abused.
“We counseled some youth and women who have been used by some politicians for the political thuggery in the last election as well as bring unity within the members in the state” he said.
Nasir who commended the efforts of the President and Kebbi State Governor for providing dividends of democracy to the people’s most especially on the diversification of Nigeria economics.
“The CBN Anchor borrowers programme has reduced unemployed in the state and also make them to be self-reliance, Buhari has constructed many roads across the country, reviving of Nigeria Railway, port authority and other achievements recorded,” he added.
