Traffic: FRSC takes safety awareness to road users

The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has offered safety tips to road users within the nation’s capital city, in order to curb rate of crashes in the Territory.
The FRSC Kuje Area Council Unit Commander, Solomon Igbogbo, specifically enjoined road users in the area to adhere strictly to simple traffic rules and regulations especially while driving during the rush-hours in the morning and evening periods.
He reiterated that this point while encouraging motoring public to drive road worthy vehicles and avoid being drunk before plying road.
The commander stressed that people should always obey traffic rules, especially pedestrians should desist from backing oncoming vehicles in the area.
Igbogbo who is an Assistant Corps Commander (ACC)reiterated commitment to staging advocacy campaign in mosques and churches to sensitise the members on the need to shun primary traffic offences.
The Kuje FRSC boss explained the campaign was designed with a view to reducr road crashes to the barest minimum even as he called on other security agents to complement the efforts of FRSC on the campaign against traffic irregularities in the Territory.
