APC women leader, 6 others die in Jigawa auto-crash

No fewer than six All Progressives Congress, APC supporters including Birnin Kudu local government area women leader, Aisha Tahir died in an auto-crash that occurred on their way back from campaign rally in Jigawa state.
The accident leading to the death of the politicians was said to have occurred when a camel crossed road along Jahun-Kiyawa way.
It was gathered that, the six APC supporters died at Dandamo village in Suletankàrkar local government while returning back from the APC flag up campaign rally held in Hadejia for the Northeast senatorial zone.
Any eye witness, told our reporter that the APC supporters who hailed from Yanzaki ward in Roni local government met their death on Monday evening on their way back to home after the rally.
He explained that the five passengers died on the spot while the other one died while receiving medical treatment at Babura General Hospital.
Also Deputy Chairman North of the APC, Hon. Mannir Uba announced the death of their supporters in a road accident and described their demise as a great loss to the entire APC family in Jigawa and Nigeria at large and special prayers was offered for their repose souls.
Contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abdu Jinjiri confirmed the death of APC Birnin-Kudu women leader, Aisha Tahir but said he did not get information on the death of six other persons from Roni local government.
