Jigawa CP urges politicians to sheath sword ahead Buhari’s visit

As president Muhammad Buhari visits Jigawa for his presidential campaign on 2nd February, the Commissioner of Police in the State, CP Bala Zama Senchi has inaugurated new executive members of police community relations committee in the state.
Speaking at the inauguration, the CP explained that, the committee is a voluntary association aimed to assist the Nigerian Police force in discharging its statutory responsibility of protecting lives and properties of the citizenry.
He maintained that, the committee will also partner with police to enhance cordial relationship that will be in the overall interest of the police and general public in crime prevention.
While talking on the incoming general election, the commissioner charged the politicians in the state to shelf their swords as Jigawa people in-respect of party differences are from one family.
According to him, the command seek manpower re-enforcement from zonal headquarters and neighbouring states for a peaceful presidential rally in the state.
He then commended, the outgoing executive members and charged the new executive members to work tirelessly and ensured free fair and peaceful election in the state.
