Russian scholars from St. Petersburg State University, Russia, have presented their preliminary findings on the need to document some languages in Adamawa state.
The Russian expedition to Yola comprised Professor Alexander Zheltov, Associate Professor Anastasia Lyakhovich, and a final-year student, Lora Litvinova. The team had been in the country for the past three years.
The leader of the team, Professor, Alexander Zheltov, said the documentary will concentrate on languages that were yet to be captured and documented.
He said some of the languages include; Mumuye, Yadang, Waka, and Gengle.
