Adamawa: PDP vows to resist APC rigging

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa state has said it has put mechanism on ground ahead of coming elections to resist any attempt of rigging by the incumbent government.
PDP stressed that it will settle at nothing that free and fair acceptable elections by all.
Speaking at a critical stakeholders meeting in Yola on Monday, Hon Ahmed Fintiri, the PDP gubernatorial candidate raised the alarm that the ruling APC is planning to rig the election at all cost.
“We know their intrigue, let them be assured that we are prepared for this election nobody can rig us out and we will never allow it”, he said.
Fintir said the meeting was summoned to access their level of reach-out after the ward to ward campaign that the party has just concluded so that they can fine-tune that of the local government to local government before 2019 election commences.
He also urged the party’s stakeholders and supporters to be patient and tolerant in ensuring that all work for the victory of the party.
In the meeting, the party alleged that Governor Jibrilla Bindow is manipulating the state owned media to his administration favor to the detriment of other political parties.
They said the media outlets belong to everyone not only the state government challenging the Governor to stop the manipulation immediately.
Commenting at the meeting, Former Governorship Aspirant of the party, Adamu Modibbo enjoined the party supporters to work assiduously for the party during the general elections.
The party resolved that its party agents to be use at the general elections would be train on election processes soon.
