The event will hold on March 6, 2014 and will bring together civil society organisations, human rights activists, women, peace and security (WPS) network members based in Abuja, as well as the Ministry of Women’s Affairs.

The seminar will hold at the New Chelsea Hotel, Central Area, Abuja, with the theme: “Women, Peace and Security: The Missing MDG”, and shall be used to commemorate the 2014 International Women’s Day.

This year, civil society will discuss ways to include women’s rights in conflict prevention and peace building efforts in Nigeria.
