Dankwambo swears-in 16 Special Advisers in Gombe

gov_ibrahim_dankwamboGombe state governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has sworn in 16 Special Advisers with a view to moving the state forward.

He said among those that were appointed include the senior special advisers and personal assistants. Some of the Special Advisers include Mohammed Abubakar (SA-Political), Henry Likita Gaten (SA-Urban Development), Rev. Abare Kallah-Genera (SA-Special Duties), among others.

While inaugurating the new Special Advisers in Gombe yesterday, the governor said their appointment was based on merit. He said his administration will do everything possible to ensure that only qualified people are appointed into political office in the state.

According to him, based on the citation of the appointees, there is no doubt that their appointment is a clear manifestation towards commitment that entrenched democracy in Gombe state.

He urged the appointees to work assiduously with other public officers to ensure effective implementation of the government policies and programmes.
