The Benin monarch, HRM. Oba Ewuare II, has declared that Nigeria will surmount its economic and security soon.
He made this known in his goodwill message to mark the 2019 Eid el Fitri Celebrations where he wished all Muslims a happy and violent free Eid el Fitri Celebrations.
Oba Ewuare II in a press statement which was issued his Chief Press Secretary, Desmond Agbama, charged Muslims to use the moment to dedicate the nation to Almighty Allah for guidance.
He also implored “every Nigerian irrespective of religious or political background to support the government of the day in order to make the desired progress”.
Congratulating Muslim Clerics and entire Muslim faithful for the successful completion of Ramadhan and the Celebration of Eid el Fitri, the monarch, reminded them to always abide by the teachings of Prophet Mohammed concerning Ramadhan, which lay emphasis on arms giving, piety, forgiveness and righteousness.
“We should to allow the spirit of love and togetherness envelop them during Ramadhan and beyond, and should endeavour to pray for the nation’s political, religious and traditional leaders for Allah to grant them wisdom and knowledge to lead the Country and her people on the path of peace, unity, progress and development”, he said.
