Ambassador Shehu Malami, the Sarkin Sudan of Wurno, has expressed warm greetings and felicitation to his friend and business associate, Chief Akintola Williams on his attainment of the golden age of 100.
“Please accept my warmest congratulations. May Allah continue to preserve, protect and guide you, amen,” Malami said to Akintola in a tribute he personally signed.
While extolling the virtues of Akintola Williams, Malami also recalled his meeting with Rotimi Williams, “Timi the Law,” who was then chairman of the constitution drafting committee for which Malami was then member.
“No need for me to mention how much I, together with a collection of so many Nigerians, enjoyed learning and copying from his universally acknowledged reputation of dedication and competence,” Malami said of the late Rotimi Williams.
“My dear Akintola kindly convey my fraternal greetings and best wishes to all the members of the family who are deservedly celebrating with you,” Malami concluded in his tribute to Chief Akintola Williams.
