The National Association of Small-scale Industries (NASSI) Jigawa State chapter has trained over 50 small-scale industries in the state.
The state chairman of the association and also deputy governor in the state, Alhaji Umar Namadi dropped the hint yesterday during the training held at association’s office in Dutse.
He explained that, the training aimed at creating awareness on small-scale industrialists on how to access loan from the commercial banks to boost their business.
According to him, the loan which is for both males and females would be payback at a lower interest within a stipulated period given by the banks.
Alhaji Namadi said, this is also part of the federal government effort to support small-scale industries for a better self-reliance among the teeming populace in the country.
The chairman then urged the beneficiaries to pay back the loan at an appropriate time for others to benefit.
Some of the participants in the training include representative of Central Bank of Nigeria Alhaji Audu Amadu, SMEDAN representative Alhaji Aminu Sale, representative of NIRSAL Dr David Akande among others.
