Supporters club reaffirms commitment to Nigeria sports

The Nigeria football supporters club has reaffirmed its commitment to Nigeria football and sports in general.
According to a statement by the National Chairman of the NFSC, Rev. Samuel Ikpea, the club plans to redouble its efforts aimed at encouraging Nigeria sports and athletes, and particularly, repositioning the country’s image positively.
“For over six decades, the Nigeria football supporters club, have been supporting and encouraging Nigeria sports all over the world.
“We’ve therefore restrategised our operations to ensure we’re always on ground at all important sporting events Nigeria is participating to support and help lift the morale of our athletes to victory, at all times.
“Towards achieving our plans, we’ve also re- energized our chapters both home and diaspora, to continue their selfless services to the national cause, “ Ikpea stressed.
He noted that Nigeria sports, particularly, football, is at a crossroad. Adding that it is time for all genuinely concerned stakeholder join hands with the government to grow Nigeria sports.
“I want to implore all sports loving Nigerians to put their money, where there mouth is, by genuinely supporting our athletes and the efforts of the government to develop sports in Nigeria. On the parts of the NFSC, we have resolved to continue with our selfless and patriotic services to Nigeria,” he added.
