Zamfara: Our loyalty to former Gov Yari still intact – LG Chairmen

The 14 Zamfara state local government council Chairmen who were elected under All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last local government elections have unanimously reiterated their continued loyalty to immediate former Governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.
Speaking at a zonal meeting in Gusau the state capital which was organised by the party leaders aimed at assessing the popularity of the party, the serving Gusau local government council Chairman, Alhaji Babangida Abdullahi stressed that, they are always politically all ears to what the former Governor would say.
“Although, we are serving under the ruling PDP at the state level but, that could not derail us from focusing on the good policies of our great party APC, and we shall remain wholeheartedly obedient members to the party and our trusted and patriotic elders”, the Chairman has said.
According to him, the turnout of the gathering was a crystal clear that, the APC is still on the ground in the state and ready to live through the first tenure of the party in power, adding that, “Majority of our party members are busy attending their sources of living as they were engaged into various businesses by our immediate past administration.
“With this development therefore, our teeming youths from the 14 local government areas can not be seen anywhere begging for living across the size of the present government led by the PDP, our plans were to continue to embark on empowering and encouraging our people to become productive quarters of the society”, Alhaji Babangida has stated.
