The management of Kaduna Electric said it has resolved the disquiet occasioned by the action of one of the in-house unions yesterday.
The Head, Corporate Communication Abdulazeez Abdullahi disclosed this in a statement made available to the media in Kaduna yesterday.
The statement explained that issues raised have been addressed and normal operations have been restored in all its offices and cash centres.
“As we have said, this sad incidence has again called to question the undue pressure being exerted on Distribution Companies by regulatory agencies which make it exceedingly difficult for them to effectively discharge their obligations to the market and other stakeholders.
“We urge all our esteemed customers to be rest assured of our resolve to continue to provide uninterrupted services in spite of the stifling effects of these recent regulations, “ the statement said.
The staff of the company yesterday barricade the entrance to the premises because of unpaid salaries arrears.
