Ex-Police DIG, Danmadami is dead

One of the northern elders and member of the Katagum Emirate Council in Bauchi State, elder statesman Alhaji Muhammadu Dan madami Sa’in Katagum a Retired Deputy Inspector General of Police, DIG, has died at the age of 85.
The deceased died yesterday in his home town Azare and left behind his elder brother Kilishin Katagum Alhaji Dansidi, three wives and 27 children among whom is Alhaji Nura Danmadami, a onetime Director at the Debt Management Office, Bauchi and a senior Customs officer Alhaji Ahmed Danmadami and many others.
According to reports, the deceased died after a protracted illness.
The late Danmadami was said to have been ill for quite some time.
The Chief Imam of Katagum Emirate Mallam Ayuba led the funeral prayer of the deceased around four o’clock in the evening , he prayed to Allah to forgive his short comings and reward him.
