2015: Let’s know your stand now, youth tell Jonathan

The National Youth Vanguard (NYV), North West zone, has called on President Goodluck Jonathan make his position in the 2015 Presidential Election known now before it is too late.

Rising from a one day meeting of the PDP Youth Council held in Kaduna yesterday, zonal coordinator of the Vanguard, Alhaji Ibrahim Ahamadu, told newsmen that the meeting discussed extensively on the performance of Jonathan’s administration and came to the conclusion that he should be allowed to continue for another four years.

According to him, the Federal Government in the last five years has virtually touched all aspects of lives of Nigerians positively in terms of the provision of basic amenities for the people.

He said the Federal Government under the leadership of President Goodluck has completed many Federal roads which were abandoned in the past and established University of Technology across the country for technological development.

Ahmadu said outside the shore of the country the government has established relationship with many countries such as China in order to build good relationship and attract investors.

The youth leaders said President Jonathan in the last five years has done well in areas of agriculture and rural development and industrial revolution through the transformation agenda.

He added that with all these efforts and with another four years mandate, the administration would attract many other investments such as in education and infrastructural development.

Ahamadu said the meeting, which was organised for the North West Zone of the PDP Youth wing by Senator Aziz Haruna Zago, believed that the achievements of President Jonathan’s administration are enough to vote for him and give him the opportunity to serve for another four years.

Speaking on the National conference, the Vanguard co-ordinator described it as timely and urged the delegates to put the nation first in their deliberations and refrain from any primordial issues that would not benefit anybody he concluded.
