Yuletide: Police warn against use of bangers, knockout in Kebbi

The Kebbi State Police Commissioner, Garba Danjuma has warned and banned the use of bangers, knockout and others explosives during yuletide period in the State.
Addressing a press conference yesterday at the Police Headquarters Birnin Kebbi adding that the aimed is to ensure hitch free celebrations.
He said the command who also reiterate that the ban on the use of fireworks, fire crackers ,bangers knockouts and other explosives devices is still enforce and should be strictly adhered to by all and sundry.
‘’Parents are hereby advised to keep an eagle eye on their children to avoid the incidents of missing persons during this yuletide period ‘’, he added.
Danjuma appealed to the good people of the state to be watchful ,vigilante and report any movement of any suspicious person to the nearest police station or other security agencies immediately.
He then assured the good people of the state to go about their lawful businesses without fear ,as the police command and other security agencies would be on visibility policing, robust vehicular patrol and foot patrol day and night in all nooks and cranny in the state.

The commissioner of police said ‘’ police will be on the highways ,waterways at strategic locations to conduct stop and search within the state, anti-kidnapping squared , anti-robbery squad and operation puff adder teams will be deployed in the state exist routes at observation points during the festive periods.
