The Deputy Speaker also implored Governor Lalong to work closely with all persons and interest groups to move the state forward, and appealed to the people of the state to remain law-abiding and give all the necessary support to the governor.
He urged Governor Lalong to build on the policies that have defined him as the most outstanding governor in terms of people-oriented programmes while sustaining the programmes and developmental agenda of the state in line with the All Progressives Congress (APC) manifesto.
He also thanked the people of Plateau state for setting aside their differences in the interest of the development of the state and for standing with the governor all these years, and appealed to the opposition to take the judgment in good faith for peace to continue reign.
While commending the judges of the Supreme Court for the land mark judgment, the Deputy Speaker noted that it will go a long way in restoring the confidence and hope of Nigerian people in the sanctity of the judiciary as the last hope of the common man.
While calling for the support and cooperation of the government and good people of Gombe State, CP Wakili warned drug traffickers to desist from their dastardly acts as anyone caught will be dealt with accordingly.
