The University of Abuja Centre for Gender Security Studies and Youth Advancement on Tuesday organized an awareness lecture on women inclusion in the armed forces of Nigeria held at the permanent site of the University.
Speaking at the occasion, the Vice-chancellor of the University, Prof. Abdul-rasheed Na’allah who was represented at the occasion, said he would continue to support the laudable programme of the institution.
Also speaking, the Director, Centre for Gender Security Studies, Prof. Ocholi Ekundayo, said the programme was organized to brainstorm on women inclusion.
Ekundayo said the centre would continue to focus on meaningful programmes that would be of benefit to the students and generality of Nigerians.
The occasion which was attended by the military men, Navy, Airforce, Police and Civil Defence.
