NGF felicitates Obasanjo at 83

The Northern Governors Forum has congratulated former President Olusegun Obasanjo on his 83rd birthday.
The Chairman Northern Governors Forum and Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong, has extoled the former head of state, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo for his visionary, patriotic, selfless and exemplary leadership to Nigeria, Africa and the World at large.
Governor Lalong in a statement signed by his director of press and public affairs, Makut Simon Macham, described Obasanjo “as a leader who has given his best to the nation and humanity in the various positions of duties he occupied hitherto”.
The NGF said his doggedness toward ensuring a prosperous democracy and good governance in Africa will continue to speak for him as he looks forward to greater years of divine blessings and support.
The forum enjoined the ex-leader to continue to be persistent in offering his wealth of wisdom to Nigeria and Nigerians like he did in the past, especially as the country is confronting corruption and insurgency every now and then.
