Kebbi gov’s wife commited to promoting unity among women

The Wife of the Kebbi State Governor Dr. Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu has reaffirmed her commitment towards promoting unity among women in the State and ensured that they were carried along in the political landscaping.
She stated this yesterday at the ongoing this year celebration of International women days adding that her commitment is to Champions all the cause of women in their dedication of nation building.
The wife of the Governor who was represented by the Special Adviser to the Governor on women affairs Hajiya Zara Wali said that there is need by the Governments to work on gender equality and ensured that all women are been carried alone by empowering them to be self-reliance.
She said that the event which was a platform for women to speak out their minds was organized by the State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development in partnership with other partner and donor agencies was aimed to promote women in the State.
Also in her remarked, the permanent Secretary Ministry of Women Affairs Hajiya Aisha Maikurata called for more numbers of women in participation into education, health and economic.
She also thank the Kebbi State Governor and it’s wives for supporting women in the State, appeal for more women involvement in Government activities in the State.
