Buhari condoles Wamakko over brother’s death

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has expressed “profound grief” over the death of Dangaladiman Wamakko, the younger brother of senator representing Sokoto North, Aliyu Wamakko.
Buhari, in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said, “I am deeply touched by the demise of your brother who was a very dedicated community leader that not only shared your best aspirations, but also committed himself to promoting them.
“May his soul rest in peace. May God forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds. May God comfort you and other members of the family at this difficult moment of grief.”
Meanwhile, the President has sent his condolences to the government and people of Kano State over the death of a renowned chartered accountant, Alhaji Aminu Ibrahim.
According to Buhari, Ibrahim distinguished himself in his chosen career as one of pioneers of the profession in northern Nigeria.
