Ansar-Ud-Deen Society donates food items to widows

Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Kaduna branch Wednesday donated food items to widows in the society to serve as succour for them during the Ramadan fasting and the Covid-19 lockdown.
Kaduna branch first Vice Chairman of the Society, Alhaji Sabur Adeyemi disclosed this during the presentation in Kaduna Wednesday.
Alhaji Sabur said reaching out to widows, orphans and the less privilege in the society and providing skill acquisition programme for the unemployed, are part of the annual welfare programmes of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society Kaduna branch.
“Like other Ansar-Ud-Deen Society, Kaduna branch programmes, we presented food items to the widows among us to serve as succour for them during the Holy month of Ramadan and also the ongoing lockdown because of Covid-19.
“The widows like the vulnerable, need lot of help and this is our own little way as an Islamic organisation to reach out to the vulnerable and the less privilege among us. Even if we can’t help all of them, we reached out to substantial number of them to enable them have an easier and enjoyable Ramadan.”
